The African Finance and Investment Forum has officially opened here in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi. The annual meeting brings together investors, entrepreneurs, government specialists and policy makers from Africa and beyond. The aim of the meeting is essentially to stimulate the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises, that have been identified as key drivers for growth on the continent. This year's edition of AFIF will focus on entrepreneurship and innovation with an emphasis on access to finance in key sectors; energy, water, ICT, health, agriculture and agro-industry. Special attention will also be paid to the role that Africa can have in embracing the 4th industrial revolution
