African Union Mission Arrives In Libya

A mission of the African Union headed by Congolese Foreign Minister Jean Claude Gakosso has arrived in the Libyan capital Tripoli The AU delegation is composed of foreign ministers from Mauritania, Algeria, Tunisia and South Africa. They met with the head of the unity government, Fayez al Sarraj. The delegation stressed AU's support for the government of national accord, and praised Serraj's efforts to achieve national reconciliation between rival political parties. According to the delegation, the meeting aims to involve all parties into the political process and help bring different views together.
