Africa's First Waste To Gas Plant Opens In Cape Town

To South Africa and the continent's first large scale waste to gas plant has opened in Cape Town. It's set to usher in a new way of generating renewable energy. The New Horizons plant extracts environmentally friendly high-quality products, from household, municipal and industrial waste. The project is also the first multimillion-dollar renewable energy investment of the year -- creating over 100 jobs, as CGTN's Travers Andrews reports
