Countries Discuss Special Economic Zones In Harare

President Robert Mugabe's given the go-ahead for a long-awaited Special Economic Zones Bill. The approval comes during a special visit by the Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission. President Mugabe has met with Fan Hengshan at State Hosue in Harare. Henghsan has been accompanied by a large delegation of government officials and businessmen from China's Gansu Province. They represent the aviation, infrastructure, tourism, and electricity sectors among others. The delegation is there as part of a cooperation mission on the development of special economic zones. So far, Zimbabwe earmarked three cities for these zones. They are Harare, Bulawayo and Norton.
