Former Diplomat Hints At Possibility Of Egypt’s Intervention In Libya

A former diplomat has warned that Egypt could intervene militarily in Libya to safeguard its own national security and stability. Egypt's former assistant foreign minister for Arab Affairs, Ahmed Al-Quesni, says deploying troops to Libya would send a message to Western countries not to get involved. His statements have fuelled speculation that Egypt could intervene in the unstable situation in its neighbouring country. Yasser Hakim has reactions from Cairo.
