Graphic Designer teaches girls to make sanitary towels

Published
Orefile Malebo from Bloemfontein is a 29-year-old graphic designer who has initiated ways to ease the burden of women who have no money to buy sanitary towels by teaching them how to make their own, using materials that are easily available such as face cloths, plastic bags, old socks, and even blankets.

Orefile joins us now from our Bloemfontein studios to talk to us about the initiative.
