IMF Chief Pledges More Support For Central African Republic

The director of the International Monetary Fund -- Christine Lagarde -- has wrapped up her trip to the Central African Republic. It's the first stop on her mini tour of the continent -- that will include visits to Uganda and Mauritius. Lagarde has promised to continue to support the C.A.R.'s efforts to improve governance, move towards attaining political stability and economic resurgence. CGTN's Uche Okoronkwo sat down with her to get more insight into the IMF's plan for the country, the region and the continent in 2017.
