Kenyan entrepreneur, Ciiru Waweru Waithaka plans to start an industrial revolution in Africa, where economies are built and jobs are created from the production of everything from spoons to beds in this continent, and she wants women to be on the frontline of that revolution. She started the Funkidz Group seven years ago, with the idea to build safe, quality furniture for children. Today she is engaging world leaders on how Africa can create future smart cities and homes that these children will live in. Maria Galang, has her story.
