Kenyan Police in Spotlight for Assaulting University Student

Published
Four police officers filmed beating and kicking a university student during a protest have been identified and suspended. The national police service says disciplinary action will be taken against them and any other officers found to have used excessive force once an investigation by the internal affairs unit is complete. A video of the student being brutally assaulted went viral on social media. It showed police officers, some wearing body armour, beating and kicking the student as he lay defenseless on the ground. CGTN's Robert Nagila has that report.
