Nine-year-old Upington girl gets her smile back

The mother of a nine-year-old Upington girl who underwent reconstructive surgery is relieved her child will no longer be teased about the way she looks. Sasha-Lee Neels was left badly scarred after a car accident last year, with one eye partially closed. She's one of 25 Northern Cape children who benefitted from corrective facial reconstructive surgery thanks to the Smile Foundation, which works with Academic Hospitals.
