Political parties in Parliament have reacted to the briefing by Public Protector Thuli Madonsela, on her findings about security upgrades at President Jacob Zuma's private residence in Nkandla.
The IFP says the war of words between the office of the Public Protector and the Executive need to tone down.
The opposition had wanted Madonsela to brief the ad hoc committee on Nkandla, about her report, but they were out-voted by the ANC.
