Pompeo in Sudan aims to improve Israel-Arab ties

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was travelling to Sudan on Tuesday, on the first official direct flight from Tel Aviv to Khartoum. FRANCE 24 chief foreign editor Robert Parson says it’s a sign Sudan wishes to normalise its relationship with Israel, following in the footsteps of the United Arab Emirates, and shrug off its reputation as a state sponsor of terror.
