Published
The bodies of three of the four mineworkers trapped at the Tau Lekoa Gold Mine in Orkney near Klerksdorp in the North West have been recovered by rescue workers. Five workers were trapped by a rockfall of about 1350 metres below the surface on Friday. This follows two seismic events. Mine managements in a statement said that one of the five miners trapped underneath has been rescued and hospitalised. The search for the remaining trapped worker is continuing.
