Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe Hints At Retirement

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has mentioned possibly stepping down. During a meeting with veterans of the country's war of independence, the 91-year-old said that if he was to retire, he would do so properly. Mugabe claims there are factions within the ruling party plotting to replace him. The president has also admitted the country's economy is in crisis. However, he's defended his performance as president.
