Botswana Seeks To Diversify From Diamond-dependent Economy

Considered one of Africa's most prosperous and stable countries, Botswana owes much of its success to one commodity - diamonds. Through revenue from the precious stone, Botswana has recorded some dramatic increases in national wealth over the past century, rivaled only by South Korea and China. But the government is starting to realize that diamonds are not forever, as it diversifies the economy, to wean it off its dependence on diamonds. Susan Mwongeli reports.
