Nigeria's Kingdom of Benin has a new monarch. Prince Eheneden Erediawu was crowned in a colorful ceremony on Thursday. His new name as Oba or King of Benin is Ewuare the Second. He's been crowned by a council of elders. That was a private ceremony. But the main attraction was the celebrations outside. Around a hundred thousand people flooded the streets to celebrate the coronation, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the new king. The Kingdom is located inside Nigeria. It's one of the oldest and most prestigious African realms.
