Why Migrants Want to Leave South Africa

They came to South Africa to seek refuge, now all they want is to get out. Hundreds of refugees camped outside the UN's refugee agency in Cape Town for weeks, demanding to be relocated after a wave of xenophobic violence. Riot police detained around 100 migrants after breaking up the protest at the UN refugee office. The remaining migrant protesters relocated to a local church, where they have been given temporary shelter.
