Cameroonian Runner Foimi Wins 2nd Edition Of Annual Abidjan International Marathon

The second edition of the Abidjan International Marathon took place in the Ivorian capital city on Tuesday. Cameroon's Justin Foimi crossed the finish line first, with a time of 2 hours and 28 minutes. In the 42 kilometer race, the previous titleholder, Boris Konan from Cote d'Ivoire finished third. The race, which starts in the Plateu district, passes in front of the city's town hall, before ending in the Treichville sports center, after passing through the districts of Marcory and Cocody. Runners from eight different countries took part, including Cameroon, Gabon, Ghana, Niger, and Cote d'Ivoire.
