Chinese language in Ugandan schools in 2020

Uganda partnered with Confucius institute to introduce Chinese in secondary schools and 39 teachers were picked to study the language in Feb. 2019.Thirty of them graduated from the Confucius institute at Makerere University Nov.2019 after an extensive 9 months course.They are expected to start teaching the language in 2020 after Uganda enlisted Chinese among foreign languages to be taught in schools.
