Kenyan, Iranian Suspects Refused Bail On Terror Charges

Published
Two Iranians and their Kenyan driver have been arraigned in court on terrorism charges. They face charges of collecting information for a suspected terrorist act. Court papers indicate the three were caught taking footage of the Israeli embassy in Nairobi. The three have pleaded not guilty. Authorities say the two Iranians were visiting Kenya but gave no further details. In 2002, 15 people died when an Israeli-owned hotel was bombed in the coastal town of Mombasa.
