Supporters Of Robert Mugabe March In Harare

Published
Close to 50 thousand people took to the streets of Harare earlier on Wednesday - in support of President Robert Mugabe. They want him to stay in power. While today's event didn't draw the one million people intended, it was a dramatic indication of just how much support Africa's longest serving leader still has. The march was organised by the youth wing of the ruling party, ZANU PF. It was in response to an opposition rally held last month, which saw thousands of MDC members calling for the president to step down.
