UK Invests $2 Million In Egypt's Anti-illegal Migration Programme

The UK is investing nearly two million dollars in Egypt's newly established anti-illegal migration programme. After issuing a law that criminalises the process, Cairo is now launching a national project to put the legislation into action. In cooperation with the International Organisation for Migration, the project will implement developmental and awareness programmes to curb the flow of migrants across the Mediterranean.
