UN Chief Urges UNSC To Impose Arms Embargo On South Sudan

The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has once again raised the alarm over fears of genocide being committed in South Sudan. Ki-moon says immediate action must be taken and has renewed his plea for the UN Security Council to impose an arms embargo on the country. The United States has been struggling to secure the minimum number of votes needed for the Security Council to impose the embargo.
