140 Ugandan Policemen Join AMISOM Forces In Somalia

140 members of a contingent of the Ugandan police under the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) have been called upon to remain vigilant and observe high level of discipline. This was at the end of a one week induction course for the newly- deployed officers. The Deputy Special Representative of the Chairperson of African Union Commission for Somalia, Lydia Wanyoto Mutende challenged the officers to be sensitive of the new environment in which they are operating, and live up to the expectations of the mission.
