Al-Shabaab on Friday overran an African Union military base along the border with Kenya. The attack on Kulbiyow town that lies on the border between Somalia and Kenya came less than a week after Kenyan and Jubbaland regional forces seized a nearby town known as Badhahe near Kulbiyow.
