The Basketball Africa League is set to sponsor play between club teams in Africa next year. But many African players are finding success at the highest level right here in the United States. VOA’s Mayra de Lassalette and Betty Ayoub went to Atlanta to visit with a rookie who is the NBA’s first player from Angola, he’s 21-year-old Bruno Fernando, from the Atlanta Hawks.
