Cameroon: Child victims of Boko Haram violence struggle to survive

Published
The United Nations estimates that two million children in Cameroon need urgent humanitarian assistance.
Many of them have been abandoned after being caught up in the conflict between Boko Haram and government forces in Cameroon’s northern region.
Children who have escaped from the armed group are seen with suspicion, with schools refusing to enrol them and state authorities unwilling to register them.
Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reports.
