A number of armed groups in the Central African Republic are moving towards the capital, Bangui, to put pressure on the government days before a presidential election.
The government is accusing former President Francois Bozize of an “attempted coup”.
Caught in this latest spiral of violence are the people of the CAR, more than half a million of whom have left their homes with nowhere to go.
The Norwegian Refugee Council describes this as the world's most neglected conflict in a country unable to find peace.

Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reports.
