Concerns over suicidal drought-stricken N. Cape farmers

Drought-stricken farmers in the Northern Cape are suicidal. They say conditions are depressing and emotionally draining. Six years into a crippling drought, 14-farmers in the Karoo Region quit, after losing all their livestock. Caritas - a Northern Cape NGO with a 24-hour helpline- says it receives calls from suicidal farmers.
