The Confederation of African Football has reportedly expressed its discomfort with declaration by the Council of Southern African Football Associations - COSAFA- which has endorsed a rival to CAF President Issa Hayatou for the Presidency. The regional block has backed Madagascar FA President Ahmad Ahmad in the upcoming CAF presidential elections in a meeting chaired by Zimbabwe football President and COSAFA Chief, Phillip Chiyangwa.
