In Cote D'Ivoire, the ruling party has secured a strong parliamentary majority in recent legislative election results. President Allasane Outtara's party has won 167 seats in the 254-seat National Assembly. According to the Independent Electoral Commission, provincial results released put voter turnout at 34%.
