Madagascar is isolated, so it has rare species that are unique in the world. Many species, because of the country’s poverty, are being plundered and threatened with extinction. Conservationist Justin Claude and a group of Madagascans started working as guides and created their own wildlife research and conservation institutions. They hope to aggressively promote ecotourism and teach young children ways to protect the environment in Madagascar.
