Three separate blasts in the Nigerian city of Damaturu, capital of Yobe state have killed at least 18 people. The bombers suspected Boko Haram militants targeted a mosque and two housing estates in the city. This incident has raised fears that the militants are stepping up bomb attacks in Nigeria's volatile northeast. Maria Galang reports
