An Ebola outbreak in eastern DR Congo is now the world’s second largest on record, killing about 50 people every day and spreading faster than any previous epidemic. Health workers in Ituri province are overwhelmed, with treatment centers attacked and a second facility under construction to cope. Mistrust and fear keep some patients at home, risking wider transmission in camps where 1.3 million displaced people live.

Al Jazeera’s Catherine Soi reports.
