The Africa CDC warns the Ebola response is facing a major funding shortfall, with only 20% of the required resources mobilized. Speaking to CGTN, Goma-based correspondent Djaffar Al Katanty said rising infections and protests over unpaid wages are hampering response efforts. The DRC has recorded 1,792 confirmed cases and 625 deaths.
