Zimbabwe’s rough diamonds are primarily sold at the world’s fastest-growing trading hub, the Dubai Diamond Exchange in the United Arab Emirates. ZBC reporter Owen Mandovha, who is attending the Kimberley Process Plenary Meetings in Dubai, visited one of the major diamond auctioneers to gain insight into how Zimbabwean gems are marketed and sold, with Indian buyers making up the bulk of the clientele.
