Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has instructed his Cabinet to allocate 1.8 billion dollars towards stockpiling six months reserves of strategic food imports. The decision follows a severe shortage of sugar that was preceded by a shortage of rice. Adel EL Mahrouky has the story.
