In an attempt to fully stretch the digital financing capacity, Egypt has announced allocation of EGP 12.7 billion (800 million U.S. dollars) to the project Digital Egypt which aims for improved governance, good management of resources and accuracy of data.


According to Egyptian Minister of Finance Mohammed Maait, the government is keen on building the numerical capabilities in Egypt through a unified digital automation mechanism.
