Election tensions rise in CAR

Religious leaders in the Central African Republic are using their status to call for a peaceful elections due on the 27 December. There are fears of violence as the country heads to the polls, while interference by foreign powers is also stoking worries. Religious leaders say it is politicians behind divisions, not opposing religions.
