Kenya's capital Nairobi is developing fast, but the process means felling trees and green areas to make way for contruction projects. But when an iconic landmark in the capital, a 100-year-old fig tree, was marked for removal, green campaigner and activists forced the local government to backtrack on its plans to cut down the famous green space.
