Former AUC Chairperson Dlamini-Zuma Hands Over To Faki

The new African union commission chairperson Moussa Faki Mahamat has officially taken over leadership. The handing over ceremony took place at the AU headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In her farewell message Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma thanked the continent for the contribution and support during her tenure as chairperson of the commission. AU chair also Guinean President Alpha Conde, Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome and Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni among other top officials from the continent attended the occasion.
