ZIMBABWE MOVES CLOSER TO OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION AFTER LANDMARK DEAL
Zimbabwe has moved closer to commercial oil and gas production after Government signed a landmark production sharing agreement with Invictus Energy. The deal comes as positive drilling results from the Mukuyu wells pave the way for a gas-to-energy plant in Guruve and another exploratory well later this year. Officials say the project could trigger major economic transformation and strengthen the country’s energy security.
