Guinea-Bissau polls: Embalo claims victory, ruling party candidate urges patience

While official results of Guinea Bissau's presidential election are not expected until Wednesday, a former army general and ex-Prime Minister Umaro Cissoko Embalo claims he is on course to win the election.

His opponent and candidate of the ruling PAIGC party, Domingos Simoes Pereira urged the nation to await official results, saying there is ' a lot of fake news circulating'.
