Half of South Sudan's population faces acute hunger

Aid agencies are warning that humanitarian funding cuts to #South #Sudan will negatively affect millions of people in the country. The United Nations' latest #food security assessment indicates that 7.74 million people out of the country's 13 million population will face severe acute hunger between June and August this year.
