The hero of the story told in the film 'Hotel Rwanda', has been sentenced to 25 years in jail for terrorism.
Paul Rusesabagina's efforts in saving hundreds of lives during Rwanda's 1994 genocide, brought Hollywood fame. But since then, he became a leading critic of President Paul Kagame.
Rights groups and observers have branded his trial a sham.
