How to effectively combat rampant corruption in The Gambia

Poor people suffer the most as a result of rampant corruption. COVID-19 has worsened this situation in many African countries. A recent corruption index ranked The Gambia among the sub-Saharan African countries that have failed to put anti-corruption measures at the top of the agenda. The worst-hit sectors are the health and public sectors. Gambian rapper, Killa Ace, calls for an end to corruption, in his single titled 'Combat corruption' — produced exclusively in collaboration with DW's The 77 Percent.
