Lokichar, in Kenya's northern Turkana county, has for a long time been a desolate place, neglected by subsequent governments and heavily dependent on donor funding. That was until the discovery of oil in the region. The face of Lokichar is changing for the better, and though the change may be slow it can only get better. Kathryn Omwandho reports.
