For thousands of years, the small mountain town of Msallata in Libya, 100 kilometres (62 miles) southeast of the capital Tripoli, has cultivated olives, growing and pressing the fruit by hand.
It has even managed to produce oil from the olives it cultivates during the civil war of the last few years.

Al Jazeera’s Malik Traina reports from Msallata, Libya.
