Dozens of UNESCO sites that have been damaged are at risk of losing their World Heritage status.
In the first of a five-part series, we visit the ancient Sabratha ruins on Libya's Mediterranean coast.
Fighting has left the site neglected by local authorities.
But as Al Jazeera's Malik Traina reports, peace talks could help change that.
