The fourth plinth of London’s Trafalgar Square has welcomed its first African figure. Anti-colonial fighter John Chilembwe now has pride of place on London's Trafalgar Square alongside three permanent “residents”. His statue is the work of Mallawi-born artist Samson Kambalu.
